DELTAN'S EXPRESS WORRIES OVER OKOWA'S REFUSAL TO RENOVATES AND FURNISH THE STATE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Despite several calls by Deltans across the globe calling on Gov Okowa led administration to take a proactive action to address the failing system of education in the state has seems to be turned deaf 👂 ear 👂 by the present administration
It will interest you to note that Gov Okowa in his annual subsequent briefing said, Government had set aside N2 billion in 2018, #4hn in 2019 and  #6bn in 2020 all amounting to about #11bn between 2018 -2020, for the Ministry of Basic and Primary Education to renovate and furnish over 1, 600 public primary schools across the state.
Our reporter who went round some public primary school across the three Senatorial district in the state lamented that many public school in the state are yet to receive attention, as several dilapidated building are still witness in many schools

At Arasa Primary School Oviri/Iwride Olomoro, Isoko, Delta State the situation was not different as been witness in other schools across the state. It was observed that Pupils of the area learn under dilapidated building and sitting on the cold floor to learn.
While most Deltans do not know the state’s internally generated revenue (IGR), various forms of obnoxious taxes are imposed on the helpless citizens, whose little earnings from other sources are squeezed out of them with intimidation. Such and many more are the prosperity Okowa’s government has brought to Deltans.
